She sued a Saudi-owned mega farm for excessive groundwater pumping that harmed rural neighbors and ranchers.
She secured an $11 million settlement from a southeastern Arizona corporation to address the groundwater depletion of neighbors.
Kris Mayes has also made protecting Arizona workers a top priority.
She created the state's first Worker Protection Unit to investigate wage theft and other workplace abuses.
Attorney General Mayes has defended prevailing wage laws and believes Arizona is stronger when corporations are held accountable and working families have a fair shot.
